We are a prop making company based in the North East of England but we don’t just build props, we are set builders and creative thinkers plus much more.

While The Prop Making Company is a relatively new company established in 2020 owner and creative director Neil has worked freelance for over 20yrs gaining experience and knowledge of the entertainment, events and cultural industries. Working with a select team of specialist freelancers we can provide all types of weird and wonderful props, models, scenery, themed and immersive environments along with lots of other fun creations. 

 We use a wide variety of methods, techniques and materials to create each of our projects. Examples include joinery, sculpting, moulding and casting, fibreglass hard coating and some good old fashioned knowhow along with a pinch of experimentation to develop new techniques and discover new materials.

We offer a reliable friendly service and will work with you from the initial concept idea through to design, build and installation.
